History and Philosophy
The principals of Association Management LLC are Alva Youngner and Mary Bryan
Fields. Youngner and Fields have combined real estate experience of five decades. In
addition to extensive administrative and managerial expertise, both principals have served
on multiple association Boards of Directors in communities where the principals own
Prior to Association Management LLC entering the Coastal Georgia market, real estate
firms managed common interest communities as an auxiliary service. In 2007, Fields and
Youngner identified this underserved niche in the market and founded Association
Management LLC. The company’s mission is to provide specialized, professional
association management services at affordable costs regardless of community size. The
company does not engage in real estate sales or individual property management. Such
specialization enables the company (1) to provide knowledgeable personnel to each
community, regardless of size, (2) to employ industry-specific software to provide
comprehensive service and follow through and (3) to implement industry best practices.
Youngner and Fields are members of the Community Associations Institute and hold the
CMCA (Certified Manager Community Associations) and the AMS (Accredited
Management Specialist) Designations.
Education is a priority for Association Management LLC. The company offers annual
workshops for Boards of Directors and general association memberships, so that both
leadership and membership are confident in their duties, obligations, and expectations.
The services provided by Association Management LLC are designed to add value in
each of the following critical areas: knowledgeable leadership, collaborative management,
transparent decision-making and effective communication. Ultimately, the company’s
goal is to assist association leadership in making the right decisions for their community.
